Spiralling Breeze

A 2 track alt dance single (13m ) — released June 6th 2011 on Emerging Species

Gentle Mystics formed in London in 2007, a 9 piece band of multi-instrumentalists and vocalists with a string of awards and accomplishments across various forms of artistic expression. They are a flagship group from the label, Emerging Species, with a history of sold-out shows in the UK and France, including appearances at major festivals including Glastonbury, Secret Garden and Shambala. Gentle Mystics have developed a loyal following and evoked a wave of consistently positive feedback from critics and fans alike - ‘the best performance of the whole festival - 10/10’ (Shambala review, virtual festivals.com, 2010). Transcending genres, Gentle Mystics mix dub, folk, hip-hop, drum and bass, Balkan, Swiss alpine, dubstep, electro and jazz with a signature sound they have been honing since they began - ‘quality, original music that’s about as gentle as a baked Alaska in an over-heated oven’ (Diana Mavroleon, Producer, Resonance FM). Their self titled album was recorded in 2008, with the first single, Spiralling Breeze and b-side, Mushroom 30,000, marking the beginning of a vast armory of releases commencing June 2011.

They took the crowd on a complete rollercoaster of musical fun which left everyone baying for more - the best performance of the whole festival -10/10 - Daniel Smallbone virtualfestivals.com 1/9/

About as gentle as a baked Alaska in an over-heated oven...in other words - explosive! Resonance FM loves this sort of originality and musical quality - Diana Mavroleon Resonance FM

Sometimes ridiculous, and frequently – just a little bit scary. Imagine circus freak show era, Tom Waits on ecstasy and Peyote. Like no other - Zoe Cormier Toronto star
